Don’t lose your stone after cleaning your ring at home! Listen to your ring after you clean it. You should be able to hear if any stones are loose.
Sometimes cleaning the ring can actually remove dirt that was holding the loose stone steady.
Always check for loose stones after cleaning your ring. Don’t lose your stones!
And in case you were worried, I found this out and did not lose the loose stone. 🙂

How did you clean the ring? And with what? eep! That’s scary!
I’ve heard that there are problems with pave in ultrasonic cleaners. But nothing too bad from other types of cleaning.
But alas, it’s also a nice reminder to check your prongs every 6 months.

She actually just recommended warm soapy water (soak overnight) and scrub with a toothbrush.
This is extra beyond the 6mo cleaning they do for me for free.
My stones are set in a “window” but apparently this can happen with anything from prong to pave.
EDIT: It’s not that cleaning will loosen the stones, it’s that the dirt may mask a loose stone, so just be sure to double check after cleaning. 😀

That’s kind of freaky, to think it’s dirt holding your ring together!
