I saw the news on this last night - total stress inducer!
This likely affects those of you planning a wedding or honeymoon in Hawai'i...please make sure to convert your ticket to another airline and alert your guests!
They have links on their webpage:
http://www.alohaairlines.com/home/home.php
but the Hawaiian Air site is down due to too much traffic.
My Oahu wedding is in September and Aloha was going to be a main airline used by my San Francisco-area guests. Luckily, I haven't sent out any travel recommendations yet...but will still need to communicate this news in case any guests already booked after receiving my Save-the-Date.
Anyone else in a similar situation? How will you help your guests?
I had JUST booked my inter-island honeymoon flights for August. Tried to rebook on Hawaiian last night, and their website crashed in the middle of the reservation. FYI, I could not find any other airline that flies directly from Maui to Kaui. LAME! What should be a 45 min flight will now take over 2.5 hours.
