Head's up Bees. A news article posted yesterday that there was a debit card scam that hit Michaels store. I think it was orginally thought to be isolated to Illinois, but has actually hit about 80 stores in 20 states. The scammers install skimmers on debit card pin pads at the store. This records your card information.

If you've shopped at Michaels in the past 6 months, keep a very close eye on your bank accounts. Scammers are allegedly using the skimmed information to make duplicate cards and withdrawing from ATMs, usually in denominations of $500.

Too bad I've shopped there about 20 times in the past 6 months. NO MORE DIY PROJECTS! Ever. I can't stand that store now.

I can't stand that store since I worked there.

Be careful everyone, if they get money out of your bank account, you probably won't owe anything but you are going to have to possibly wait weeks for them to put the money back into your account.
