Ugh! I was trying to make sure DH didn't go over his credit limit (he paid off some $$ car parts for me) and I was looking at recent purchases to see if it hit and I came across a purchase at a store I've been wanting a jacket from..... I'm so excited DH bought it and am going to try to feign surprise on Christmas morning... but it will be SO difficult to!

This is why we withdraw cash for gifts! DH works for the bank we use, so it's REALLY easy for him to see what I've bought and where almost immediately.

Ha ha! That is why my FI buys pretty much everything with cash or from Amazon (oober generic). I never have a clue what he is getting me.

Great PSA! I am a habitual account checker because I am very financially organized....we made a deal we couldnt look at our account statement [shared] for two weeks before and through Christmas... it's very hard! lol

I'm usually guilty of this too!!!

FH decided be sneaky this year tho.... He got his mum to buy what ever the gift is the transfered her the money! DAMN!

I wasn't so sneaky with his but all the gifts are from generic places :P although as they are already under thteeter I think he may have figured out the big gift...
