What time of year are you getting married?
Are there any pavillions or community centers at Mercer County Park that might work?
What about at Princeton? Do they have some spaces that are open to the public?
There are a slew of private schools in the area- perhaps they have meeting spaces you could use if you're getting married at a time it doesn't conflict with classes?
Try Princeton High School. I'm not sure if they would do it, but it's worth a shot... their cafeteria and gym are pretty standard cafeterias and gyms, but the lobby to the theater is really pretty, part of the older part of the structure with the gorgeous architecture. You could also try Westminster Choir College; I'm sure they have some nice spaces.
When I was in seventh grade, my friend had her birthday party at the fire house at Harrison and Nassau Streets. Fun, relaxed vibe, decorate however you want... there's also a fire house on Witherspoon Street, across the street from Community Park Pool
Or, if the weather's nice, how about Marquand Park (Rte 206 and Lovers Lane)? I went to a birthday party in 8th grade there.
And finally, I once went to a big 50th birthday party at Mountain Lakes House (http://mountainlakeshouse.org/), right off of 206 near Community Park. It was really nice!

Hi All,
My fiance and I would like to have a BBQ rehearsal dinner and are looking for a venue. My mom has tried local churches but since we arent mambers, we have been turned down at 5 locations already! We really just need a large room that will hold 50- we dont want to have it at a restaurant- we would really like to do BBQ as my finace is from texas. Plus it would be really nice to have a relaxed meal before the very formal event the following day.
Does anyeone have any suggestions??
Thanks,
Pton Bride
