Don’t let the name scare you, this recipe is a must for all chili lovers! The only things I altered were; a tablespoon of minced garlic to the ground beef, an extra can of chili beans (Busch’s Hot Chili Beans) and a whole can of pumpkin puree.
There will be enough to freeze and it only takes an hour and a half to make. It doesn’t taste too pumpkin-y but it does have a slightly sweet taste. Delish!

I love pumpkin chili! I make it every fall. When I tell people about it, they think it is so weird, but they always want the recipe after they try it because it is so delicious!

I am making pumpkin chili today. I did it last year and it was so scrumptious. I froze the leftovers and enjoyed it for weeks afterward on those days I didn’t feel like cooking.
The recipe I used came from the Skinnytaste website… it is made with ground turkey, white beans, chicken broth, green chiles, cilantro, etc. So yummy!!

@BelliniChic: I made this a couple of weeks ago for the first time! It was good. I’ll definitely make it again.
The leftovers kind of looked like vomit, (or something unfortunate from the other end) but IMO, that’s just par for the course with any chili.

Looks so good!!
@DomesticDiva: Hahaha! totally just par for the course with chili! I just top it with something when I serve it so it isnt as… unfortunate looking!
