Ha, yes, and it's adorable. :) I have two dogs that I call puppies still (they are 1.5) and when we watch anything with animals making noise on the TV or the computer they'll do this cute thing where they cock their heads to the side and my biggest one will make this funny sound like "Do I have puppies?" She's funny. They'll watch it too. I didn't think they would "watch tv" but if it's the right sound, they totally do.
My pup used to bark at the old domino's commercials, bc the doorbell sounded just like ours. She has now learned the phrase "it's on tv!" and doesn't bark at the tv anymore.
@dolphindoll: The same with our dog. She barks at doorbells on tv (which is funny since we don't have a doorbell on our apartment).
I was watching something on the Science channel about fire investigative dogs and she heard them bark, ran to the edge of the couch, stared at the tv, and then barked back. It was hilarious!
Our little guy (not so little- 45 pounds) just jumped on the tv stand and put his head against the tv and cried for the other dogs to play with him!!
Oh- and our little girl Lola loves to watch tv! It doesn't really matter what it is, but she sits on the couch or by the coffee table and just stares at the tv!

Does anyone's dog/s bark at the tv when they see other dogs? Our tv is between 2 windows and everytime the puppies see a dog on tv- they run up, cry, look behind the tv then stick their heads behind the curtains to "look for the dog" out the window! It is adorable- but probably not good that they get so worked up!
