It’ll be okay! When we had ours fixed I had my SO bring her and drop her off. I really didn’t want her to be mad at me… maybe selfish, but she’s my baby! Anyways… nothing changed, and she still loves her mommy and daddy just the same 🙂

We are close to having to do this to our kittens, and I feel badly for them too!  No advice though.

@MrsD41503:  Totally going to be ok!  I cried when I had to leave Wort at the vet for the old snippety snip, the look he gave me while I was walking out was brutal!  But when I called in to check on him, they told me he’d been hanging out in all the vet tech’s polar fleece vests all day, hadn’t been in a cage, hadn’t been alone even for a minute and when we picked him up in the morning, I guess he slept the night away in the night crew guy’s lap…..

So yeah, its hard, but a good thing!  Because changing doggie maxi pads…is gross!

I’m right there with you. Dropped my little guy off this morning- so so sad.

Hang in there! Our pups will be fine and better for it :).

@MrsD41503:  Yeah, my little guy had to pull an overnighter.  He only weighs five pounds, so the standard is overnight observation for someone so tiny.  It was rough not having him home that night, I can tell you that much!  The staff at the vet had a ball with him, he’s super cute and extra snuggly!  But he was just fine when Mr. 99 picked him up in the morning and now that he doesn’t have all those hormones coursing through his body he’s a perfect gentleman.

@MrsD41503:  He’s a chihahua, just a tiny, adorable lovey little chihuhua…but we were warned to get him neutered at 8 months and we did!  They turn into little leg humpers if you don’t!

@MrsD41503:  oh my gosh, that face!! It will ok. When we had one of out dogs spayed I was a nervous wreck! She was very tired and out of it after the procedure so we let her sleep in our bed for a few nights. We also had to make sure she didn’t lick the area even after we took the cone off.

@MrsD41503:  Its a hormone thing, he hasn’t done it since….don’t worry, she’ll become a perfect lady!
