I agree pumpkin or even just lots of olive oil on the food or even turn the food into soup with warm water. It will help with digestion.
Beware you may have the opposite problem for a while though (aka the runs).
Thank you both- the vet tech also reccommended pumpkin, which I gave to her with her breakfast and later as a treat - all is now well. Phew (can you tell this is my first dog??)

My almost 1 year old corgi Eva has not pooped in days. She's seems fine, but when she goes outside, she'll squat for a minute or two, move and try again, but nothing comes out. She is peeing, and drinking water but I'm getting worried. It's really early here so I'm waiting for the vet to open at 730 (just the nurses) so that I can call and get her in immediately when they open at nine.
I'm really worried she's eaten something weird - she goes into work with me at a costume shop and there are all sorts of bad things she could have gotten ahold of - string (which apparently could wrap around her stomach) something plastic, or the worst case scenario - a pin.
The fact that I can't do anything to help her is making me upset and even more worried than I already am.
