@Perfecteuphoria:  Haven’t heard of them, but it is worth checking out Jasmines Bridal Shop.  Lots of actual dresses on the BEE.  Do a search.  There is a main thread with 3 parts that is worth reading.

I don’t have a personal story, but just wanted to mention that they also have a youtube channel — I actually did look into getting one of their gorgeous color dresses (while I was second guessing my dress!!!  I got over that though LoL) and spent a good chunk of time checking out their videos, in which the owner goes through a different dress they’ve made per video.

I was looking into getting a dress from there and contacted the owner. Being wary of ordering online I asked a few questions such as whether the dress was their original design and whether they had more pictures of the dress that I wanted from different angles (it was obviously a professional modeling shoot). While waiting for her response I figured out how to do a reverse search on the picture for this particular dress and found the original designer so you can imagine how I felt when she emailed me back responding that it was her design but they had no other pictures of the dress!

I also asked her about the necklace on the model (if it was for sale or where to get it) and about other sites using the exact same model picture to which she responded that she wasn’t interested in selling the necklace and that there were lots of sites copying ‘her’ designs!

Needless to say, I didn’t go with her. If she had been honest and responded that it was a knockoff that she had never produced before but could then I would have been ok with it (like Jasmines, etc). However I was not comfortable working with someone that was not truthful.

Luckily I found a local seamstress that could make the same dress for approximately the same price (with no shipping or customs) and she can have me there for fittings as she is making the dress. I am so much happier with this and my seamstress is amazing!
