- Wedding: August 2009 - St. Thomas of Villanova Church & the F.U.E.L. House
So I’m learning almost two weeks before our wedding that the purple floor wash I was sooooo excited about will make my dress LOOK purple, and so our lighting pro is advising against it.
Does anyone know if this is true? Any pictures of a purple floor wash and a bride so I can see for myself? I’m upset that the color we selected a year ago won’t be the one we have at our reception!

what do you mean by “floor wash”? Is it lighing, how does it work?

i’m not familiar with floor wash but could they use it only after the obligatory photos are taken? that way your dress looks white in the photos but you can still have purple for the fun part of the evening.

A floor wash is lighting. The lighting guy covres a large fuzzy light with a purple gel that casts a glowing light to make the floor look purple. Sorry Bru, dont have any answers for ya but Ill google around to see what I can find! xoxo
