I always dreamed of having a girly pink wedding. However, when trying on bridesmaid dresses I realized that maybe I didn’t want pink dresses. I fell in love with purple/eggplant color for our wedding…however I would still like to do pink flowrs. I’ve tried google imaging pics but just cant find anything that I am in love with. Could you girls help me out…do you think these colors would look good? We are having a June wedding.

I think pink and purple go together wonderfully!
The girls flowers could always be mixed and yours could be solid – or vice versa.
And here’s some awesome decor pics:

that’s crazy! we have the same wedding date and same colour theme AND the same idea for flowers! so coincidental!
i think it makes things interesting to put another colour into the mix!

Im doing eggplant (although my bridesmaids dresses are not the right shade and are much lighter, but I’ll deal. . ) with all different color pinks. I think I might give them very pale pinks and me hot pinks and the centerpieces will be all different pinks. Or maybe the opposite. Depends what looks better with their dress when it comes in. Purple and pink rocks!

I am also having an Eggplant wedding, and am very girly! But with older bridesmaids, bubblegum pink was out! Eggplant very sophisticated! These are our flowers, they have sweet peas, which are soft and romantic and girly! Have you though of getting some killer pink heels to bering some of your fav color in?

I may be biased because I love all things girly but I think it’s a fab idea. I love what MissMaine posted.

Wow this is almost exactly what i plan on doing and until I saw your photos I had been stressing so much about the color combo!! I have to incorporate blue as it’s too expensive for me to cover or put in storage. I am planning to have sapphire runners atop white table linen, silver rhinestone napkin rings and clear crystals scattered on the tables; and then I was going to have red pink and purple flowers in a mix of green and teal vases. Thanks for sharing – you make it look so beautiful and doable. Like an indoor garden!

We are doing purple, green and pink. The bridesmaids will have purple dresses (pick your own) carrying pink kissing balls. The guys will be in green shirts.
Our tables will be round covered with purple cloths. Chair sashes will be hot pink. Escort card/gues book/gift table will be covered with sage green cloths.
I think my girls will look hot! 🙂

I love the scheme! 100% in favor of a different color something (flowers or dress) that compliments, rather than perfectly matches, the color scheme. It gives the eyes a rest, and makes everything look more interesting.
I’m actually doing shades of purple with ivory for the flower scheme, and decided that purple dresses was too much. So, I’m going with navy dresses and it looks amazing.
