Purple bride here too.  DB wisteria is the color of BM gowns  adding touches of green for accent might need to blend various purples because I am having trouble matching the color which looks nothign like what is on the website.  ‘

I love these inspirations ladies — we are all going to have fabulous purple weddings!!

I too am using Purple as my main color, were doing Plum and teal..using peacock feathers as accents. our wedding is in an old rustic lodge at a state park, out door ceremony October 5,2012…with the leaves just beginning to change i think it will be a perfect color choice!

I really want to do purple it’s my favorite color…however my sister is getting married about 8 months before mine and she was going for a different color but then she went with a Plum color. My wedding would be in the spring so I was thinking of light purple or a jewel purple tone, maybe a combination of both one for my bridesmaids and the jewel color for my MOH. Any ideas?? I was looking at Bari Jay dresses, but their light purple tones are almost grey. I’m also incorporating silver into the mix.

@springwedding2013 – I choose the Euro Lilac color from Bill Levkoff and it’s a really pretty shade of purple. I didn’t want anything too pastel or too plum/eggplant. The Euro Lilac is more of a smokey purple. I suggest checking it out…one thing to keep in mind is that the color on their website isn’t really what it looks so try to go see it in person.

@turtle62212: thank you so much for the suggestions, my thoughts are similar to yours I don’t want it too pastel because I don’t want my girls to look like little girls, and the plum it’s what my sister is using! Would you mind posting apicture of the dresses from your bridal party? Thanks again for the advice!

@springwedding2013 – here is the dress we chose, it’s Bill Levkoff style 808.  I don’t have a picture in the Euro Lilac though.
