Hello hello my new potential friends! I've been wanting to share some insight into my mind with the wedding planning, so I figured I could on here. I've been browsing the site so much, I might as well contribute to the information on here, even if I do repeat myself.
The very first issue of the wedding was deciding on the date. FH and I had decided on December 17th, 2011. This would have been the weekend right after finals. We were actually so set on it, we put down a deposit on the honeymoon reservations.
Well, after much bickering with my parents and crying (because I was so emotional that week), I decided the date would just be better pushed back to December 29th, 2012. That's a Saturday next year... I'll be married in 1.5 years. I -think- that might be enough time.. maybe cutting it close (yea right).
We're both college students, so while we do want an elegant wedding, we have already decided to absolutely not pull out any loans to pay for a wedding. So I'm going DIY mode and trying to save as much money as I can. I would love for some tips! I appreciate ya!
