I say around 1,000-1,500 for me. I am wearing mine for only 5 hours total…cannot justify anything higher.

My dress will be about $1000+ with alterations.  I have no intention of keeping it, so I’ll either sell it or give it away.

I paid $230ish but was willing if all went pear shaped (I ordered online) to buy from a salon for up to $1000. Glad I didn’t need that option thou 🙂

I am keeping my dress – preserved by a dry cleaner if I can find a reasonably priced one – I don’t know what for except sentimental reasons but the material may come in handy for my possible future daughters 🙂

I’d be cool with under $2000, though i didnt exactly follow that rule while shopping and lobing dresses…

I will want to keep my dress.

My dress was paid for and was a gift from my parents. It was $1,600 + alterations and tax brought it just under 2k. I would say my personal limit would have been 1k.

ETA: I plan on keeping it, but it does have some damage from our wedding and I plan on doing a mild TTD session that would act as a TTD/Bridals since it rained on our wedding day and we were unable to get some individual shots after the ceremony

My dress was 3200. That includes tax and alterations. I intend to donate it when all is over.

My dress was about $700 (paid for in combination by FMIL and myself, although, apparently, I wasn’t supposed to pay for the remaining balance this past weekend), and, thankfully, it doesn’t need any alterations beyond hemming, which my grandma can do for me. It’s being preserved afterwards because I ended up getting the package for free.

It annoys me that my dress is cheaper in the US though 🙁
