I think in the Copley Mall there's Kim's Fashio Design in the Copley Mall. Also, I've walked by a few places in Chinatown where they carry lots of fabric and it looks like they have qipao's in the window. I've never actually purchased a qipao from any of theose places but I'm interested in getting one so I'd love to know how your search turns out. Good luck!
I used Kim's Fashion Design in Copley to make my qipao and she was my worst vendor. I had a hard time communicating with her, she was never at the shop on weekends, I had to go back a number of times because she didn't get the measurements right, it took her 5 or 6 months to make my qipao, my qipao was not made by her, but by another seamstress under her employment, she would tell me to come in for a fitting, but then she won't show up at the shop....I could go on and on. Bottom line, she's very expensive and her service and workmanship is terrible. I think you'll be better off with some of fabric shops in Chinatown.
