I love spending quality time with my doggie, you are not alone!!!

Same here! I love curling up with the kitties, or taking our dog for a walk alone.
@OttawaBride2011: your pup looks just like the dog I had when I was little. so cute!
Same here. We've had our puppy for a couple weeks and I cannot wait to get home after work to see him (oh, and DH...)
Since he still has to have another vaccination he can't really go anywhere until next week so I haven't left the house in the evenings since we got him - I love just being with him and having him for company. My IL's live a few minutes away and I haven't been there since before we got the dog because I won't leave him on his own once I get home. Thankfully next week we'll be able to bring him with us and take him for walks so my IL's won't think I'm avoiding them anymore!
i LOVE QT with my pups, there are some days that are so long and hard, it makes me miss them so much... just walking thru the door to see their excited lil faces and waggin' tails :)
they were my "roommates" before FI and i moved into our house together, so i def cherish my QT with them as much as i can :)
My cat and I bond all the time. It's our COL (cat on lap) QT. She also really likes being brushed, to the point where she'll flop over and knead the air, totally blissed out. We've had 45-minute brushing sessions.
You are not alone! I love alone time with my lab mix, Barney. He can be a total velcro dog (ever had an 80 pound dog try and sit in your lap?) but he's just such a slobbery sweetheart, and we adore each other. He's also a quiet listener. ;) My fiance is wonderful, but he is definitely more of a chatterbox than I am. So when fiance has to work late, curling up with the dog and just chilling out is a terrific way to unwind.

Am I the only one? lol
It's been a long day. Lots of work done, FI is gone tonight, did some invites... now, I'm off to put on a movie and snuggle in with the standard poodle and wine.
Does anyone else get excited for quality alone time with their pet? Or is it just me and the wine talking/thinking ;-)
