When it comes to planning things to do together, which one of you does it most of the time?
I have found that I do it, I love being outside and going out. In the beginning of our relationship I showed him so much about the city, he was also born here as well but I’m more outdoorsy. Now I want him to plan more outings, he said he will try but that I’m so much better at doing it. I told him I need reciprocity. I don’t care if we sit in park…I just want him to plan it lol

I’d say we are about equal. But really, most of our quality time together isn’t explicitly planned. It just happens organically.

I plan everything. Well, I give DH options of what he wants to do. He likes it that way.

My FI and I plan together, but we have so many hobbies in common that it makes it really easy. We’re definitely both homebodies though, so trips for us are usually vacations somewhere.

We plan things together most of the time, like evenings out for dinner and/or drinks. We enjoy sports bars and out of the way little places with live music. We’re both outdoorsy so, when the weather is nice, we spend time at parks, lakes, hiking trails or having a picnic somewhere. And there’s a wonderful mall we like with a lot of outdoor space, movie theaters, restaurants and bars, plenty of designer shops. We also plan beach or mountain trips fairly frequently.
My husband is wonderful at coming up with great out of town trip plans and special outing ideas, though. For instance, last New Year’s Eve he planned a romantic trip for us, booked us a luxury suite downtown in our capital city, right in the middle of the action. We took a couple of days off work and completely enjoyed ourselves, got to see the “ball” drop from only a few yards away, drinks in hand for toasting in the New Year. He thought of it, made the arrangements and drove us there. All I had to do was pack. It was fabulous. He’s good like that.
He makes traveling easy and fun for me.

I don’t know. We don’t really plan it. Now that we have a baby in the picture, we try to get it as much as we can.

It varies. We have some of the same interests, and some completely different ones. We’re also LDR right now, so almost all of our time is planned!

BF doesn’t have the largest bank account right now and I know that he’d probably rather just play guild wars XD generally I’m happy to pick up the slack and try to suggest a restaurant or an outing or find a new series for us to enjoy. And I’m happy to pay for it most of the time (he doesn’t always let me lol).

I meant to type “sit in A park”…sitting in park would mean he didn’t plan a darn thing lol
