I personally think Jasmine’s is worth it if you’re after say a Vera Wang dress or something. The dress I like will cost me around $1000 incl designer fabric upgrade but I think it’s worth paying a bit more.

If you can afford the real Mori Lee dress, I would go with that one. If, like me, the real dress would cost as much as our entire wedding, then JBS might be the way to go. Their work seems fantastic, and the quality (depending on which fabric option you go for) might actually exceed that of a designer like Mori Lee. Just my two cents…

$80 shipping seems pretty reasonable for a wedding dress which will travel across the globe to get to you. I looked into shipping options from the US to UK and $90 is the cheapest I could find and that’s with USPS. $80 is really not that bad.

I am having a dress made by JBS what kind of dress did you have in mind?  do you have a picture?  you can also see some of the pictures of real brides in JBS dresses.  I agree with @cornwallbee2015 if the dress you are after is already priced resonably it would not be worth wild going after JBS they do are very limited on dress customization options now too.

my hight is 5’1 and I wear high heels so I can add about 6 inches to a dress.  I have 2 dresses I am selling they were regular size when I ordered them and honestly I would not worry about your size when you look for a dress if it is from a bridal dress shop.  I guess I would say if you have a style in mind Mermaid dresses are great for little brides but if you look around you can find a dress for cheap.  ebay, Davis bridal have great sales and Alfred Angelo are some good option.

I did not check into Jasmine but I did purchase from dressilyme. The satin material of my dress, boning and lining used are all very nice quality. I happened to have picked one of their free shipping dresses and it literally came from China to AZ in 30 hours via DHL. I paid $260 with a custom sizing and several custom changes. The original dress in my local store was $1,600 before any change fees, tax or shipping.  Here is a quick photo, straight out of the bag so excuse the wrinkles (it’s also not laced tightly in back).  I totally agree with you, to order a dress directly from China you should expect to save much more than $200. I personally would not feel comfortable paying $600 to Jasmine. Hope this helps!

liuyuanfang:  Jasmine’s definitely have better materials and yes, they tend to be heavier because they have more layers (mine had about 7!). Personally, I have rarely seen a dress I thought was good quality come out of Dressily Me. Jasmine’s tends to have much better quality but you do pay a bit more for that.
