I got these Caparros pumps from DSW online and am really pleased with them. The DSW return policy is pretty good. I had also ordered a pink pair of shoes, and when I decided on the ivory ones instead, I returned the other ones at the store. No return shipping costs involved! Of course, you could also go to a DSW store in the city.

Nordstrom is also great for selection and offering special sizes – and they’re having a big sale right now, too!

Try The Left Bank in Roscoe Village. They have tons of bridal shoes in stock so you can try them on, and then they will order them in your exact size and color. Plus the owner is a sweetheart. Good luck!

Have you considered flip flops? 🙂 I’m not kidding either, 3 of our summer brides all had flip flops on during the entire day. And they were super comfortable. You can get them in pure white with “bling”. Looks super cute for photos too. Live on the wild side!!!

Here is a sample wedding were the entire bridal party wore flip-fips:

I also got caparros from Zappos. I originally found the shoe at DSW though.

You can try James Ciccoti on Clark.  They have gorgeous shoes and they are custom made for you.  They are kind of pricey though (like 400) and I don’t know how much you want to spend.

Try Lori’s Shoes at Armitage & Halsted — they have a great selection of bridal and formal shoes and really good prices too!  Their website is:  http://www.lorisshoes.com

I got mine from James Ciccotti and I absolutely loved his shoes. And he was insanely wonderful and patient. They are pricey but SO worth the wedding splurge.

I’m going to echo the recommendation for Left Bank…it’s in Lincoln Park though on Webster & Racine.  They can order shoes that they don’t have in stock – that’s what I did…I like my shoes better than my dress!  They have a ton of veils, hair jewelry, ‘maid/flower girl gift ideas, jewelry, etc.  Here’s their website & their blog:
