How was an accident never "taken care of"???? Did your premiums go up after the accident?
Over 3 years ago (June 1st 2008), I was hit by a squad car. Totalled my dad's truck. I live in a "no fault" state so regardless of who's fault it was, both I and the City of St Paul had to *pay* for this accident (premiums went up). 3 years later, my insurance is FINALLY going down next month and the accident is being cleared.
Did your insurance co pay nything for the accident?

I'm looking up quotes because I'm paying a lot and need new insurance
I got into my first car accident almost two years ago. It was completely not my fault, the girl got a ticket, and I had to replace my whole bumper. I called my parents car insurance a while after the accident and they said they had dropped it. (The gentleman at this insurance agency said "Oh I filed it away, it was never taken care of..") So as far as I know I was never officially recorded on this accident. Do I need to claim that I've had an accident when I look at policies?
Also, they ask about tickets. I received one about three years ago and took the class to have it dropped. So do I need to claim that as well?
