I’m almost 100% sure those $400 dresses you’re seeing are from knockoff sites.

I think it is totally up to your expectations…

You can pay 400 dollars less for your dream dress replica, and hope that who ever is making it is talented and it will look similar if not exactly the same.

Usually they are coming from china, and you can custom make it to fit you without having to do the hollow to hem that costs extra. So that’s a plus. Try to see if you can get any actual pictures of their real work (not the model pictures). And go from there.

I know originally I had planned on just getting a replica dress, but I really liked a dress I found at a discount bridal botique (I still paid about 800 + more for the hollow to hem since I’m so short). At the end of the day it was worth it, because it’s my wedding dress and hopefully I’ll only wear one once.

On another note, years ago I got a replica prom dress from ebay and while it wasn’t exactly like (they replaced crystal pick ups with crocheted flowers) I loved it. 🙂

It’s all up to you my dear! Read reviews and try to find the best replica possible if thats what you want! 🙂

@MrsBtoBe14:  Anything that is online and 400 dollars cheaper  (or even 200 dollars for the whole dress) than what you would normally pay is almost definitely a replica! 🙂 Just a fyi!

@MrsBtoBe14:  Not usually…. but I can’t be 100% sure when you say “well known designers”

My gown was from impressions, and they aren’t well known, but their dresses can range from 500 to 2000+. So it just depends.

Now http://www.jasminebridal.com/ should the the true website… and if I’m not mistaken you have to find a bridal botique that sells them, where you can go dress shopping and order from them?

For example:

http://www.jasminebridal.com/ugC_Product_Detail.asp?hidP_kind=Bridal&hidP_style=COUTURE&hidP_Style_ID=T152052

says “find a store”

weddingshoppeinc.com is a good place to get real designer dresses. As a rule, any other side (except bestbridalprices.com) are likely knock off sites.

As far as price goes, Mori Lee dresses are typically under $1000, with many being around $500-600 (though some are over $1000).  I have no idea the price range for Jasmine dresses, though–they aren’t advertised online.

@MrsBtoBe14:  I would go Wedding Shoppe Inc. over Best Bridal, only because WS’s prices are generally lower.
