@Kacey23:  It definitely seems weird , immature and somewhat inappropriate.

Agree with the above poster-Personal topics should be kept between husband and wife. Its one thing if a couple announces that they have baby fever. But I think its appropriate to just leave it at that-no details required, lol.

Yeah, that would make me uncomfortable too. It’s one thing to joke about it with friends in person, but it seems totally inappropriate on Facebook, whether they’re Christian or not.

@Kacey23:  Yes, I think it’s weird. But not because they’re Christians. I think that’s weird for anyone to post. I don’t think being Christian has anything to do with it.

@Kacey23:  I think there is this idea of freedom and security that comes with marriage that makes some couples feel like they can make those statements. Its almost like, now that they are married they feel like they can be more light hearted about intimacy since they dont risk being “judged”, lol. I tend to be timid about those subjects anyways, so married or not, I personally wouldnt post anything like that on social media. But I’ve seen all kinds of things on Facebook so this doesnt surprise me.

I remember seeing a post from the man who runs our churches cafe stating that him and his hot wife were going to have fun making love tonight, or something along those lines, it was really awkward. That’s personal and no one wants to know that.. It’s not even like they were newly wed and excited to be able to get to do this new thing, they have 2 or 3 kids and their oldest is 16!

How old are they?  That sounds like a very “We’re 21 and newlyweds and having sex for the first time OMG OMG!” sort of thing to do.

(No offense to any 21-year-old newlyweds here, I’m sure you’re not that lame.)

That’s pretty much overshare whether you’re Christian or not.  Definitely not what I’d consider normal.  How old are these people?  They seem pretty immature so I’d guess they’re 20 or 21 or something.

I’m not so sure why this post is in the Christian section at all, really.

But those types of posts would make me really, really uncomfortable as well. TMI, completely.
