Last I heard, C&C had plans to make it available in the near future, but no updates in the past few months since that info first came out (to my knowledge). Hopefully someday soon, since they’ll have to try and compete with the Amora Gem.

ETA: This is where I get my info (which you might appreciate too, since you’re such a fan of sparkly things yourself)

@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  If she’s still interested in moissy in spite of the lack of H&A cut, she should consider OEC. That cut has such a huge following among moissanite fans, and I’ve been completely obsessed with mine ever since I got it.

Not yet, but soon.  But the current RB often does have arrows.

They say that the new Amora gem is cut in a hearts and arrows pattern, the same as a diamond. However, the patent in the US doesn’t run out until the middle of 2015 (I think). Some people have used a foreign PO box and had it forwarded to the US, although that certainly isn’t necessarily easy for everyone to do. Oh, and they say there is a waiting list, too.

With moissanite now available for order in the US? No, a hearts and arrows diamond cut is not available. The round brilliants are cut differently from diamonds, they say to optimize their optical properties. I am not sure how or why the properties of the Amora gem are so different that it can be cut like a diamond, given that it is still moissanite (though they say it is whiter).

@heathuhhhhwebbbb:  I have not looked at one super closely, so I can’t say for sure, but there can be definitive arrows.  I do not have any RBs currently.  Not all moissy is the same though, they are hand cut, so some are better than others, like any stone.
