You aren't going to be able to change the name on your bank account until you get married. If the name isn't changed on the account, they legally should not let you print checks with a different name on them. I am still using checks with my maiden name on them and I was married last June. No one really cares.

I was just about to order a new set of checks for my checking account because I'm getting really low. Then I realized as I was entering my information to be displayed at the top left of the check, that my last name is going to be changed in about two months anyway since I'm taking my FI's name.
What should I do? If I put my current name on them I'm going to be stuck with a bunch of checks with my maiden name in a few months. Do you think I will have a problem if I put my soon to be new last name on them, especially if I try to use them before my last name is officially changed?
