My photographer posts “preview” pics for people and I wanted to share a few shots with the hive to get your ladies’ feedback on her work! But it says “do not copy” under her watermark. That means “don’t save this and post it to a forum on the internet,” huh?

@208bride: I’d ask your photographer. It could mean a variety of things from don’t display to don’t print

@208bride: That is probably what it means. Most photographers will put something about copyright in their contracts, too. You could always review your contract or just ask her.

Ask her. Every photographer has a different comfort level on how their work can be used. Usually if the photos are for and of you, using them to post elsewhere is alright, so long as you don’t alter them in any way (i.e. crop out her watermark). But I would ask to be safe.
