Ok so my FI and I are getting married in JULY. We are sending out our Save The Dates in January. Only problem is…. we didnt take the photo during the summer time because I completely forgot!! So, now we are taking it tomorrow since its only 45 degrees I cant really pretend its summer time ! lol
Is it dumb to dress in long sleeve or warm clothing on your save the date when your wedding is in the summer time? Or should I wear a little dress and freeze my butt off trying to pretend its actually warm outside lol…..
DOes it matter?

Not weird at all to wear weather-appropriate pictures! No one will necessarily associate THIS picture with your actual wedding. I’ve seen tons of cute pictures of girls in a long-sleeved dress with tights and boots, or a nice sweater.
There are some really cute ways you can incorporate a cozy blanket into your photo too. Check it:

It doesn’t matter, our STD showed us in the snow, our wedding is in the winter but I sent them out in like April I think.

It doesn’t matter at all! No one would even notice that kind of thing. Any cute photo of the two of you would suffice.

We had our engagement photos (which will be used on the STDs) taken in the fall, we’ll be sending them out in the winter, and getting married in the summer. So I’m in the “it doesn’t matter” camp! 🙂

i actually really like when the STD is a different season… we are going to have our e-pics taken in the fall just so we can have pictures from a couple different seasons. 🙂
