Just like many other weddingbee readers, I will be putting together a scrapbook for my parents as well as my FH's parents as a 'thank you' gift for everything they've done. I usually go to my mom when I need an opinion on something wedding related, but now I'm stuck and need some help from another reliable source! :) I would like to include pictures of each of our lives from childhood up to the wedding, but I'm having trouble deciding one thing - should I include pictures of both of us growing up in both albums or should I only include my pictures in my parent's album and his pictures in his parent's album and then put pics of us after we met in both albums. My wording may be slightly confusing :) but I was just wondering what eveyone else thought! Thanks!
I think it would be easier to make them the same. As far as which way you should do it, I think you should just guess - it'll be meaningful either way.
I third their opinions. It's easier for you to do one album with both of your pictures.. I like this idea so much I am STEALING IT!! :) Thanks!!
Sort of.. I should qualify that by saying that I am making a photo slideshow that will play at the reception. I will just turn the slideshow into a keepsake scrapbook for the parents and possibly grandparents.
i'm doing this with just our wedding pictures... 90% of the books will be the same, but i'm putting a few more pictures of my family in my parents' book, and a few more of his side in his parents'.
it would be easier if they were the same, though, hehe! :)
