It could be implantation spotting or maybe AF is on her way early.  When are you testing? How many DPO are you?

How many DPO are you? I think implantation bleeding can occur anytime 5DPO or later so I would suspect that first before I would suspect a miscarriage. Especially if it is spotting and no accompanying cramping or pain.

At 10 DPO, I would think that it could be implantation bleeding, then or pre AF spotting depending on how long your LP is.

@AstoriaK:  +1

@Birdee106:  When I was PG with my son, I had implantation spotting a few days before my BFP. Fingers crossed that this is it for you!!!

My implantation bleeding was bright red blood at least once during the day on 8, 9, and 10 dpo, but mostly brown for the rest of the day and through 11dpo. I was soooo convinced it was early AF bc it wasn’t “cute and innocent little speck of blood” like every single website says IB should be. I only knew I was maybe pregnant bc my temps stayed up. BFP on 11dpo with FMU and spotting stopped that afternoon. FX for you!

@Birdee106:  Fingers crossed for you. I got one tiny wipe of light pink on 6DPO and starting on 7DPO, I got crampy and haven’t had a bit of spotting/blood since, so I’m not much help, but I really hope this is your BFP!

@Birdee106:  no problem! Are you charting your temps? Keep an eye on them, if they stay up for a few more days, I would so take a test! They say the earliest you would probably get a + after implantation bleeding is 3 days, and you should for sure get a + 5 days after the first day you had spotting (if it’s truly implantation bleeding).  I was alllll worried because of every website that says if implantation bleeding is heavy, that’s usually not a good sign.  Mine was heavy enough that I seriously thought I started my period early and I was SO ticked bc I had been having a short LP and I thought that this month it was going to be even shorter!  But, I am now cruising into my 7th week of pregnancy and everything is going really well.  Except for the nausea. But everyone keeps saying that’s a good sign that things are probably going well. Haha!
