Since I am doing the videos on demand (ie, didn't buy the dvd with instructions) I am wondering whether the intent is for you to do the workout every day.  Thanks!

I think so - that is my plan (though I haven't been able to do it every day thus far).  I think the idea is to do 10 days at Level 1, 10 and Level 2 and 10 and Level 3 (or moving up whenever your body is ready).

That seems intense!  I do No More Trouble Zones once a week, Level 2 of 30 Day Shred once a week, and run the other 5 days.  There is no way I could do strength training that intense every day, you've got to let your muscles rest, right?

I was planning on doing them five days a week, not necessarily in a row. My legs were really sore after the first day!

The DVD doesn't include those instructions either, as far as I can tell. ;) If you're very sore after Day 1, skip a day, but I find you can actually work through soreness pretty easily with this workout. In fact, it helps to do it daily!

I just did my first day of the shred yesterday and today I can barely move. My FI told me to give my muscles time to recover otherwise the working out won't do me any good. (something about giving them time to repair themselves before they can be built up) I'm going to try every other day because every day would be way too much for me.

You can do them every day, that's fine but it's also really important to give your body a day to rest/recoup.  Jillian Michaels rocks the world of fitness but rest is also important for your body.  Also, you don't want to do the exact same workout every day all the time.  Eventually your body will plateau and you won't see results.  It's a good idea to change it up, if not every day, then every week. It's good to 'confuse' your muscles.

I'm totally lazy when it comes to working out and by that I mean I've never been steady about it for more than a couple months in my entire life.

I love this and have been doing it for 5 months and even picked up her other videos to change things up a bit. I didn't exactly follow the 10-10-10 day formula, I moved on to levels 2 and 3 when I felt ready for them and like level 1 was getting easier. Personally I think this is totally doable every day although I do it 5 days a week because I really like my lazy weekends :) Its not easy in the beginning but if you push yourself after the first week you'll totally be feeling better about level 1 and you will definitely see a change in your body. Good luck!
