I am from Mexico and will be having my wedding there. The dance with your dad is after your first dance. We pick a Sinatra song so I will be dancing with my dad while my husband will be dancing with his mom same song. Then we switch and I will dance with is dad and he will be dancing with my mom. That is the tradition in Mexico.

@leyren17:  It is not really that way. The first dance is over then a new song starts and your dad takes over is not like your husband is passing you to your dad not at all.
