Here’s the thing with OPKs, you should almost always get a line. Leutenizing hormone (LH) is always present in your system. It surges about 24-48 hours before you ovulate. A strong positive is a good sign, but does not confirm ovulation, just that your body gears up to ovulate and can give you a good estimate of when you might ovulate. Test once a day starting around CD 10 or so. Then once the lines get a little darker, then you test 2x a day to catch the surge. Some women have a very short surge and can miss it if you test only once in 24 hours. I start testing 2x a day around CD 14.

What CD are you on?

And make sure you are having sex before the + OPK if possible. Definitely the day you get the + OPK and a few days after.
