I like the idea of arriving after even if it is a small group. So I pick 2. Ask a close friend to be a greeter and arrive later.

Hello,
We are going to have a small wedding luncheon in a beautiful restaurant. Since the reception is small, around 20 guests, we are not sure how to put our schedule together.
Do you think it is better to 1) arrive in the restaurant before our guests and greet them? or 2)ask a close friend to be a greeter and we arrive later?
When I said we, it means bride, groom and the family (6 people in total).
