@blondiegirl:  Where did you register? If I were to get your invitation, I would check Bed, Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel, Target… ya know the usual places, to check out your registry. All you need to look up a registry is the bride or grooms first and last names. If you registered somewhere obscure or less mainstream, then I would have trouble finding it. But I agree with tradition on this one, I wouldn’t place any registry info with the invite.

@blondiegirl:  Do not put the info in your invites. It is considered to be “low-class” by many, even by many working class familes. My mom is fine with return address labels, typed addresses, cash bars, and plenty of other things which are called “tacky” on the bee, but nothing gets her going more than registry cards in the invites. It is the only thing she will ever point out as tacky or “oh, I wish their parent’s would have told them not to”.

Instead, spread it by word of mouth (make sure your parents and your bridal party knows. Also, the way I find out for my FI’s friends is that I just google the bride and the groom’s name– their registry will pop up.

Do you have a wedding website? You could include your website on the invitations or inserts and include the registry info on the site.
