To all of my jewelry experts, is there a difference between a D color diamond and E-F color?

The reason I ask is that my engagement ring was purchased with the idea that I didn't want to upgrade so FI bought a perfect D center stone for my e-ring. I met with the jewler a couple of months back in regards to my wedding ring. I decided on a shared prong princess cut seven stone band. They called the other day to say that they received parcels of stones that are mostly E-F and they want us to come in so I can look at the stones and see if I like any of them for my wedding ring.

I desperately want my engagement ring and my wedding band to match.  I will not be replacing either one and therefore I want to make sure that they are both a perfect match. All diamonds are princess cut so I know that the color does hide in the corners. It is so hard to tell in the store because everything looks beautiful when it's brand new and under their lighting.

    Thanks!

Oh, you will be FINE with those colors. I have an E center stone and I have G quality stones in my engagement ring and wedding bands. I have 7 stones in my wedding band and they simply aren't huge to the point you'd even notice they're not the same color. I have little princess ones on the side and I can't even tell a difference in them

@ejs4y8- Thanks. I just didn't want to see the difference a month after I started wearing it and then there would be nothing I could do.
