I have a ring from there, which I love (it’s a 5 stone wedding band).  In person it’s one of the sparkliest things I’ve ever seen.  I’m totally sold on the stone and would never get a diamond unless I really wanted a certain cut unavailable in moissanite.  After hearing a few stories of faulty pave stock settings, though, if I were to get a pave ring, I’d probably go custom with Schubach’s instead of ordering from Moissaniteco.  A more basic setting like a solitaire, though, or if I wanted to save money using a stock setting, I’d go through Moissaniteco again.

I ordered from them a few times (two rings, a pendant and some earrings) and all transactions (international too, am in Australia) were fine. The products were exactly as expected.

I will say, I avoided pave too, and had purchased bezels with the exception of one shared prong band.

I have eng220b with a fb oec center stone! I LOOOOOVE it. I have had nothing but good experiences with mco. Chris was very prompt with email replies and very helpful with all of my crazy questions. Here’s a few pics!

congratulations on your upcoming engagement!! so exciting:) we had a great experience with MoissyCo. We spoke with Chris, who was prompt and very helpful. Ring came on time. I have a halo without pave on the shank, my halo stones have been holding up beautifully!  I have a diamond ring and love my moissy much more. It’s a gorgeous stone.

Here’s my ring – eng867

I just got my ring from moissy co. It’s a customized version of one of their rings, the eng 265. Like you, I never seen a moissy in person but heard all the wonderful things about it here on wb. Moissy co was quick with communication. The only problem was the wait lol. The ring I received is beautiful in person.

Congratulations on your upcoming engagement and getting a beautiful ring soon.

shellybelly601:  We also ordered one of my rings from moissaniteco.com. It is beautiful, when FI saw it for the first time he said it was the most beautiful ring he’d ever seen. THe majority of the time it behaves like a diamond, maybe better because it has no inclusions. Sometimes it does not behave like a diamond. Sometimes it doesn’t seem to want to sparkle when I look at it on my hand, but then I catch a glimpse of my hand in the mirror and it’s all glittery. This stone confuses me! I really love the stone, but it’s often really difficult to get a good pick of it because my camera doesn’t like to see what I see. Pooey!

Some or all of these things may have something to do with it being an OEC cut vs. what I’m used to (round brilliants). I would recommend getting a FB just because I can’t imagine my moissanite being more dark or yellow, or let’s say less white than it is right now. I think I would not be happy with that. I have also never encountered this mythical green tinge I’ve heard so much about, maybe I’m just not green sensitive? Maybe the moissy’s are better quality now than before? Maybe it’s harder to see on an OEC? I dunno. Anyway, if I had it to do all over again I would still pick this stone over a diamond.

My experience with moissanite & co. was simple and easy. I emailed them asking for a quote, then gave me one, then gave me a link. We ordered it, it actually showed up a day before it was due to arrive. The workmanship seems quite good to me. All the prongs are evenly spaced (I have serious OCD), in fact everything about the ring is nicely finished and symmetrical.

Stats: 6.5mm (1ct. equiv) FB OEC solitaire in a tulip prong setting with a 2mm band, which we had to custom order because OECs aren’t an option on their website. And then compared to smaller diamonds

shellybelly601:  I don’t have a ring from MCO yet, but I just wanted to tell you I love the second ring you posted, with the milgrain.  I think it’s gorgeous.  I like the style of the 1st ring, but I’ve heard that some of the settings they use have had issues with stones falling out, and that one looks particularly fragile to me.  Hope you get something you love! {I’ve been eyeing the double cushion halo and one that’s very similar to the second one you posted, with an oval center stone.)

We ordered my wedding ring and engagement ring as a set from them.  It was a very smoothe process and I have zero complaints.  I would use them again.

I actually had one of the small stones fall out of the paved band of my e-ring (I’m rough on my rings even though I take them off at home…), and they have been rockstars so far with responding and having it fixed.  Waiting on it to be sent back to me now. 🙂

I don’t have any pave on my ring because pave done by anyone can be ridiculously finicky and I’m too rough with my hands to be bothered. But it was an (almost) seamless process for us and the ring itself is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve got a 1ct in a 14k white gold setting. The stone looks very white most of the time, but has a sort of greenish grey tint in my car. It practically glitters in dimmer lit places, especially with flourescent lighting, like our elevator and dinners out at restaurants. I had only seen moissanite in person once and despite it being a lower quality JTV stone, it looked great. When my ring came in my fiance spent twenty minutes in the bathroom inspecting it and going “oooooh shiny, that’s so so shiny”. (note: I have no idea how to rotate pictures now and I can’t wait for WeddingBee to work out that particular “feature”)

Oh! I forgot to mention my stone is unenhanced. And if your ring isn’t a lost wax casting, there will be variations in the metalwork because it’s being put together by hand. I personally like these small flaws because it makes it feel more authentic to me, but some Bees don’t care for anything but perfect symmetry.
