Bees I’m looking to DIY a hair clip, but I wanted to as the hive that wore flowers for their wedding if the flowers are on a hair comb or a gator clip?
The second two are the types of flowers I’m referring to
I’m going to try with gator clips today, but my mom thought I should make it with a comb. What’s easier for the stylst/less noticeable? Looking at the last flowers they are on what look like bobby pins but I’m surprised I bobbypin could hold the weight. Thanks!

I had gator clip flowers in my hair. I got them for super cheap at Claires. Let me dig up a picture and post it when I find it 😉

my flower had an alligator clip. i have short hair so it was best to keep it in place. my birdcage had a comb and i slid it under the hair clip so that it stayed secure.
hair stylists definitely will know the best tricks to keep your flower in your hair if it’s on a clip, comb or bobby pin.

Ok this was a very easy DIY and I’m actually shocked I was initially considering spending $40+ on Etsy! I still have to find a jewel center, but this is a quick and easy project ANY person with no DIY experience can do!
I spent $3 on a pack of alligator clips, a $3.99 flower to test and a $6.99 flower to use. I already owned a glue gun and sticks.
Will post pics once I have the center!
