It just depends. I think they have a certain amount of time to pay it. I’ve had people who have payed ASAP..like I didn’t even have time to send the invoice. I’ve also had people take a couple hours to a day or so.
You don’t have anything left to do until they pay.

@stardustintheeyes: What @AnneTossy said! You’ve sent the invoice, now just sit back and wait. You’ll get an e-mail notification when they pay. Hope it doesn’t take too long! I usually try and notify the seller if I can’t pay immediately, but some people don’t do that…if it takes them more than 2 days, I’d send a message and ask about payment.

depending how they paid it can take paypal a few days to process the transaction, and, depending on your rating it can take paypal even longer to get the money to you (yeah, WTF!). If you enter a tracking number in ebay you will recieve your money faster, in 3 days I think. So to recap (paypal process the money, but does not release the money to you (1-? days, depending on the buyer, you ship the item (buying shipping confirmation will get you your money released quicker); Paypal releases your money to you (3-15 bussiness days).
I used to sell stuff a long time ago, before paypal was being so silly. I understand it is to protect everyone, but it is still a bit ridiculas how long it can take you to get your money!

thanks everyone! I mostly just wanted to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do. I don’t really know why I would ship an item I didn’t get paid for already though? someone mentioned a tracking number will speed things up but why would I do that? isn’t it the other way around? should’nt the shipping be done asap after payment is received? idk. maybe i misunderstood. Either way, I guess ill just wait now and see what happens 🙂
