I've tried studying Creighton Method and took a break from it.  It's a method that  focuses on Cervical fluid.  Anyways, I have continuous peak-type (eggwhite, stretchy) cervical fluid all the time.  I was wondering if anyone else has that and what they did for it (through supplements/dietary change)?  It's quite frustrating b/c I see no difference in my CM on a day-to-day basis.

P.S. I'm putting it in Babies, instead of Wellness, b/c more women are charting for Babies than Wellness.

I don't know much about this, but I am pretty sure that the book "Fertility, Cycles and Nutrition" talks about a condition that sounds like this (and it gives specific kinds of foods that might help your body recover the particular mineral or vitamin imbalance that might be causing it.)

Have you tried another method, like one that involves taking your temperature, to even see if you are ovulating?

Have you spoken with your practitioner about it? I actually have the opposite problem (almost none), and mine is working with me to use diet and supplements to adjust it. I would think your practitioner could offer advice as to what might help change your situation or help you learn the yellow-sticker method for continuous discharge.

@joy2011:  Funny you should mention that, I read the book and forgot about checking there.  I've been taking Optivite P.M.T. which is one of the suggested supplements but I don't take the full dose b/c it seems like alot.  I actually learned Sympto-thermal first but had issues getting an accurate temperature b/c my sleep schedule varies wildly.

@Miss Scarlet:  I've talked to my practitioner and it comes down to a change in CM from a day-to-day basis and I've seen no pattern at all.  Plus I had a lot of abnormal bleeding which has subsided since I've been diligent about my thyroid meds but my CM hasn't changed.

@beekiss: Argh, how frustrating. Sorry I can't be of more use, but hopefully there are others here who can weigh in!

@beekiss: What do you take thyroid meds for? I take levothyroxine b/c I don't have a thyroid and I HAVE to be sure to take it regularly or my cycles get JACKED! I totally feel your pain on that b/c I have alot of trouble remembering to take it... UGH

@beekiss: Have you talked to a DR about your CM monitoring? I have PCOS and I chart temps/CM, but I have the opposite problem due to very rarely ovulating. There are so many things that can throw ovulation/charting results off kilter - good to go and get a run-down just to be sure. I hope you get some ideas soon!

@amnystik:  I take levothyroxine as well for hypothyroidism.

@cvbee:  There are supplements and diet changes that can encourage ovulation and CM.  Check out Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrtion by Marilyn Shannon.

@jaguar:  I haven't really discussed this with my doctor, only that I refuse to use oral contraceptives.  I'm thinking about calling the nurse practitioner and requesting another pap smear just to be sure I don't have an infection (cervicitis) but I'm fairly certain I don't.

Thanks ladies.  Most PCOS women have little CM, right now I'm the total opposite :/
