Ouch! We have known eachother since we were 11 (fifteen years ago), and he hasnt' had any pets in that time. I know he had a dog when he was little, but I cant' remember the name!
Zero. He has never had a pet, his parents wouldn't let him and he isn't allowed one where he lives now and really doesn't have the time. He can't wait until we get a dog though.
He had a half lab/half they didn't know named Sport when he was little. His mom and dad thought the dog was a danger to their boys (even though now they admit he wasn't, they were just scared) so they gave him away when he was 2.
Then, when they were about 8 or 9 they got a dog named Ginger and still had her when we met, but she died of cancer around 4 years ago.
I'm pretty sure that my SO hasn't had any pets due to allergies and asthma in his family. (Unless you count on of those "office pet sleeping dogs" as a pet - its name was Mugsy.) He wants to get a kitten at some point, but not where we are currently.
Barley-cat from college; dog (can't remember name) growing up; Cloe-cat taken in when friends moved out west; and Sophie & Willy-both cats taken in from family members and we still have. Whew! I bet he can only name the 3 cats I had when I met him-one's recently died, one went to a new home, and one left with my dad.
Too many to count, the more interesting ones from his childhood would have to be Noah the Boa (his mom has a great sense of humor), the goat, and a bunny (even though he's allergic)...
I know he had two different dogs when he was young -- one was a German Shepherd-and-something-else mix named Sheba, a very big dog. The other, I know he has mentioned, but I can't remember.
They also had a couple of cats at some point, but I don't remember their names either! One of them lived to be around 18 years old, and his parents had it put to sleep while he was away at college and didn't tell him until the next time he came home! I know that I really do know all the names and just need to be reminded.
I'm easier...I've only had two dogs that were really "family members" and I know he could name them. We had a third for a very brief time when I was about 4 years old, but she had health problems and we didn't keep her more than a few months.
He had a dog named Hudson growing up. I never had any pets for a significant portion of time, so I don't think he knows them.
He had a cat (Mr. Stubbs), a dog (Maxwell) who died last year, a dog (Koper) who lives with his sister, a dog (Phoebe) who lives with his parents, and we have two dogs together (Louie and George). I don't think he knows mine, but that might be because I had 3 times as many pets as he did!
He has his (his family) dog Rebel who he loves more then me and I have fully accepted it! :)
He also had a beta fish in college named Timberlake, yes as in Justin, yup he was drunk when he named him.
He ALSO had a plant named Larry -- he likes to name his plants.
Not sure if he had any other fish or plants with names but I think that's it.
My dog growing up was McKenzie he never got to meet her but he knows how important she was to me!!
He's had none!
I have one dog that lives with my parents- Molly! Mr. Powder Puff has met her many times! :)

Four dogs...The first one when he was little, I can't remember the dogs name but have seen where he's buried, a shit-zu named Shemp that lives with his parents and our dogs Keegan and Layla.
Its not fair to ask him how many I have had, its probably at least 100.

he's had three dogs. I don't remember the first one's name, (then again, I don't know if he's ever told me!) Then Nike when he was in grade school-high school, and now they have a little daschund named Pookie! He's going to be sooo sad to leave her behind that we may get another long-haired daschund of his (our)own.
I don't think I've ever told my fiance about my childhood pets! He knows the two dogs and a cat my family has now.
He's had one dog that he still had when we met (in high school). Since/currently, he has none (due to space/cost in an apartment/duplex and time he has to devote to it) but can't wait until we have a house. I'm pretty sure we'll have a dog within a month of moving into a house; he's so excited about the possibility!
Hmm, dunno in totsl, not sure he does either - they, like my family, are a more than 10 (and maybe closer to 20!) kind of family. Five still alive - Luna, Bruno, Bonnie, Roxie, Jingle.
The real question is if he knows the name of my two current family cats? Probably not, he can be kind of oblivious :)
He has only had one actual pet of his own: a cat. He wasn't allowed to have pets growing up, but I think there were animals around -- dogs and cats.
That's easy, my FI never had any pets of his own before. I always had pets until the last few years. I can't wait until we get married and move into a house where we can get a puppy.
He's never had a pet that lived at his house (his mom didn't allow pets, so other family had pets that were "his"), but he had a dog named Freeway that his mother found when he was very young who ended up living with his aunt, and he also had a Schnauzer named Wilbur who lived with his grandma and grandpa. Now we have a Westie named Wesley together!!
two dogs while growing up -- Lady and Chip. I think they were both cocker spaniels.
He didn't have any pet until college -- a rabbit named Lennon, than we have/had 2 beta fish (one name Little (bad word -- Poop) Head and the other Willie, and we have a Yorkie name Lilly. So I guess his total pets are 1 rabbit, 2 fish and a dog.
He's had too many to count. He was in 4H and his pig would have from 12-18 pigs in one litter!

He had a turtle, and I couldn't remember his name so i needed a clue - WALDO.
Husband did great naming my pets as three of them live with us :)
Well, we've been talking about getting a dog for the past two years (even before we started dating, ha ha ha) but FI has previously been an all small animal guy. During college he had a mean-spirited ferret (it gnawed on everything and was a biter), a rabbit and about three hamsters. The final hamster actually escaped when we started dating and he told me he would sleep with the light on because he was terrified of waking up with the hamster sitting on his chest looking at him. ha ha! We currently have a nameless fish (which is fairly neglected, poor thing).
I think he had a couple of dogs and a cat once...but I have no idea! I don't think he knows of our pets from when we were little, either. oops!
Oh so many. From horses, dogs, cows (yes he had one that was a pet). Through all his "sea" days he always had a beta. He has had so many. We have two now. and now we have a small petting zoo. He has 2 betas (Jake and Bait) two big fish tanks with multiple fish, a bearded dragon named Kricket, 2 dogs ( Rocky and Buster) and one cat ( sissy). So we are pet lovers. He loves dogs.. But I will have to ask him and get the real number.. cause I really dont know the "actually" number.
Yep! He had one dog, a beagle named Snickers when he was little. Cats named Sunny, Misty and Macy. I don't think I'm forgetting any!
My FI never had any dogs or cats growing up, so sad! But he did have a gray hamster named Sonic when he was 8 :)

He had Rico....and some evil cat named Lucky, which is why he hates cats now. I told him when we get married he's adopting *my* fur-boys

I believe he had a few others but I just can't think of their names.
Mine has had two dogs: Puppy a pomeranian that died from a heart attack about 7 years ago while he was giving him a bath (he was really scared!) and Sunny which we still have right now.
We do have a mini zoo now that we've moved in together. Sunny, a cat, and 9 ferrets!
Easy! He had a golden retriever named Mowgli until he was like 16. Then his parents got the Bernese Mountain Dog Yankee. Yankee was lonely, so a year later they got another bernese Mountain Dog named Sage. My FI left home, his mom was even more lonely, so they got two cats, Mitz and Mulle. In between all of this, they had some sheep to "mow the grass." I swear. Now we have our black lab Bode!
