I wouldn’t care at all. I would just celebrate my birthday a few days before/after.

My birthday hasn’t been a big deal since I was 12 lol.

I might put a candle on my piece of wedding cake as a joke… but really it wouldn’t bother me at all.

Eh, who cares? It’s one birthday of your life that won’t be all about you. It’s not like every other year you will be spending with your bother-in-law and his wife!

I look at it as you have a bday every year…and as you get older, they become less of this huge, special thing.  It’s nice to get acknowledgement (happy birthdays, maybe a few cards or maybe the girls going out for a few drinks if they’re available), but I don’t expect more than that (at age 27).

However, a wedding is a different story.  Once in a lifetime, happy, special, BIG. loving event.

It would be fun to have a birthday the same day as a wedding reception!  It wouldn’t bother me at all. 🙂

Adult birthdays really aren’t a big deal and the wedding is just one day, you won’t have to share your bday every year.

My FI’s dad was so excited we are getting married on his birthday and my FI picked the date because of it. It is no big deal and now he knows we’ll never forget!

Who cares? Birthdays arent’t that big of a deal as you get older. Choose the weekend  after to celebrate with your friends.

I wouldn’t care at all.  Birthdays happen every year, my brother only gets married once!

Once you aren’t a kid, I think it’s immature to consider your birthday something anyone else should schedule his or her life around.

Not a big deal to me! At least I would always remember when your anniversary is!

Idk, DH and I both had wedding events scheduled on our birthdays this year that required us to spend the entire day (and night) away from each other, and it kind of sucked. I wouldn’t do it to my sibling.

It’s your brother in law right? I’m not sure I even knew DH’s family’s birthdays or even cared when we were choosing a date. It’s hard enough to find open space at wedding venues!

My bday fell on a random day of the week this year and literally the friday and satuday’s before and after all had big events including two weddings.  I really didn’t care but I guess it is worth mentioning that I try to avoid my bday when I can.  I was hoping people would forget this year!

If you’re really into your bday this could be annoying,  but just celebrate the day before or weekend after if you want a big thing,  there isn’t a rule it has to be the exact day you were born.

I wouldn’t care. It’s just one day. Birthday’s stopped being a huge deal when I was about 15.
