GoGoAnonon:  I think as long as you temp first thing, it doesn’t matter if you go back to sleep afterwards.

As far as your chart, you may not have ovulated this month being your first month off of bc. That is normal.

Do you check CM internally or only what comes out? I ask because I rarely notice it when it comes out but can almost always find plenty internally. It’s very possible that you had EWCM on other days.

And finally, I notice that you didn’t chart OPKs. They aren’t definitive, but they definitely help me in combination with temping and checking CM. I would definitely suggest using those to help you.

It’s fine to temp and then fall back asleep. You should be asleep for a minimum of 4ish hours before you temp. So as long as you are going to sleep by 2:30am and then temping at 6:30, you’re fine. From looking at your chart, you are having a fairly clear drop in temps over the last 6 days. My body does that when I’ve cleared out my hormone surge from my last cycle and am getting into the estrogen dominant phase of my new cycle, building up to O. So you may O later this cycle and your body is just taking its sweet time to get there. Be patient and see what happens. As for the temps themselves, some people run hotter and some people run cooler. Maybe you are one of the people who runs a bit cooler. Probably nothoing to worry about. 🙂

Maybe you can join us on the charters thread? There are lots of experienced charters there to help you make sense of things.
