For now, I wake up at 8am every morning when my husband gets up for work. But when school starts up again in a few weeks, I’ll be waking up at 6:30am. So I have been setting my alarm for 630 am, and waking up to take my temperature,… and then fall back asleep for 2 hours when my husband has to get up. Is this ok? When school starts, i’ll be waking up at 630am and actually gettnig out of bed… but for now, i just roll over to take my temp, and fall back asleep.
Also, my temps have been really low.
This is the first month I’ve been off of my birth control pills in 5 years.. so I know there’s going to be a few months of my body re-adjusting itself. But all of my temps have been 96.6-97.6 and not any higher.
I don’t think I ovulated this month so far either. I had 1 day where I had A TON of clear-ish jelly come out of me, but that was it. One fell swoop, I peed it out, and didn’t have anymore that day. (I had my period for 10 years before ever starting birth control pills, and I never remember that happening… which is why it freaked me out so much.) and I didn’t record it on my chart, because I thought it was some kind of random discharge/infection/death (because, Dr Google says everything is death).
My chart is below… I just don’t know if I’m taking my temperature at the right time of day, I don’t know how long I’m supposed to sleep before waking up to take my temperate, or what my chart is supposed to look like… I don’t know what I’m doing. And yes, I read Taking Charge of your Fertility and it makes sense when I read other women’s accounts, but my own seems to be so difficult.
