I got my DH a black tungsten rung last Christmas, the black has faded and worn off in spots.

@ash283:  Thanks for starting such a good thread!  My fiancé likes the black tungsten bands as well.  I would rather he go for a white gold David Yurman band, but he likes the black.  I am afraid it won’t hold up, as well as look bad when he wears a brown suit.

My hubby has a black tungsten carbide ring that he never takes off.  The ring is in great shape although he works on our car a lot and tends to tinger with computer parts and soldering.  He had a white gold diamond ring that we bought prior to meeting me.

My husband has a black tungsten carbide ring, had it for nearly a year, worn every day and looks the same as when we bought it, no marks, no fading, no nothing, got it off amazon for around 30 pounds, was actually inspecting it the other day and was really impressed

@ash283:  I got it from eBay, it was like $90 I think. He really, really wanted a black ring.
