Interviewing vendors was one of my favorite parts, so I’ve got a couple. First, ask what happens in case they’re not able to make it. Do they send a replacement and if so, who?
Also, how many cameras do they shoot with, how long have they been doing this, and what is their favorite part about their job. Why do they do this? I think that’s important because “it’s good money” vs “I love people” makes a difference. Also, my favorite question to ask, “what is something that people don’t ask you about but you wish that they would?” It’s my favorite because it opens them up to tell you something that they really want you to know, but don’t want to be blunt about it.

Good luck!
