So I was thinking that since my grandparents and father are deceased (as well as FH’s mom and sister) we could have memorial flowers on the altar for them. It would express their importance in our lives, but less morbid and sad than the ghost chairs.
My question is: what if my son gives the flowers for my family’s deceased to FH’s father and his son gives to my mom. Then have the parents lay them on the altar, escorted by the children, and then the kids, FH, and I do the sand ceremony. Too much, still too morbid, or any other better ideas?
