Our venue has a seperate table (a pretty small one) just for the guest book. However, if I had to choose, I would probably say the escort card table. That way, even if they didn't bring a gift, they'd walk by the guest book and be able to quickly sign it and then grab their escort card.
We had ours at the entrance and then after the ceremony at the gift table; just to make sure that everyone got a chance to sign.

So my mom and I were trying to decide... should the guest book go on the gift table or on the table near the entrance with the name cards? I've seen it both ways and we couldn't decide which way to go.
