Who is your hostess? If it is a mother or mother-in-law maybe a grandma themed gift with different things to do with the baby as a grandma? Maybe something for their home for when the baby visits?
If not, I love the pedicure idea or a spa gift certificate. Or a gift with all relaxing, spa treatments? There is also the idea of sending a thank you note and flowers post-shower if you are really running low on ideas and time.
It's for two of my friends. I'd love to 'take them to the spa' but one is ALWAYS traveling for work. I think a 'spa' themed gift basket with a gift certificate would be fun. Or I might give them 'cash' (in the basket) with a made up gift card insisting they use it for spa spoiling. One girl goes to a special 'rolfer' and the other can go somewhere when she's in Texas for work.
Too bad I didn't think of this and go to ULTA last weekend when I was in a real city. All we have is B&BW. But I guess it will have to do!
Thanks!
I like the idea of a spa basket.
What about a girls day out - mani, pedis and lunch, your treat? This way they get spoiled AND you all get to spend time together.

I'm starting to get excited about my baby shower this Saturday (even though I'm not a shower girl!). I'm feeling like it's more focused on the 'baby' than me. Or maybe I'm just foolin myself like that :)
BUT.... I haven't even thought of hostess presents.... and need to get on that. Any suggestions? It's getting too late to be too crafy and DIY but maybe some sort of 'themed' gift I can pull together??
Thanks!
