The other week I went to dye my hair a lighter brown for engagement photos. It was going to be a golden brown. Well, I had several month old hair dye already in my hair (which was brown) and the new hair dye must’ve reacted with the old because it definitely didn’t lighten it, it made it a really rich, dark brown with red in it (two times ago I dyed it a bright bright red and the red just won’t come out of my hair). I love it! But for some reason I’m thinking of getting some highlights in it or doing some streaks.
This is my inspiration for the streaks
And I was thinking if I did streaks I don’t know if I should do highlights too.
Thirdly, have you ever been to a cosmotology school to get highlights done? I’m broke as a joke and thought that the $25 they would charge is so much more feesible.
Any suggestions on what I should do? This is very similar to how my hair is now: (sorry for the super scary photo). The only difference is that my hair is a tad more chocolatey auburn brown

My cousin had your beautiful color hair for her wedding and it looked wonderful! if you put a flower or pin with diamonds in your hair it shows up great in photos. I like it the way it is! : )

I would just keep your hair as is! I love the color 🙂
I went to beauty school and I would definitely shy away from streaking your hair there. If you had virgin hair it wouldn’t be hard but with your hair being dyed multiple times it can cause a lot of variations of color down the strand. Typically what happens is a bright blonde root with various shades of orange down the shaft. You can always tone it but I’ve just seen bad dye jobs! But the good thing is that if you hate it you can always dye it back to this color! 🙂

I like your hair just the way it is! But if you really wanted to change it I think highlights would look good! 🙂

I love the inspiration video look, & from your photo it looks like you could totally pull it off. I’d go for it! Like someone above said, it’s easy to go back dark if you don’t like it

I think your hair is great as it is and the colour is fab- I vote KEEP!

Leave it just the way it is. I agree with the other brides that your veil and or hair pin will pop more.

Love it as is, I wouldn’t add streaks. I say you want your photos to be timeless, and I don’t think the streaks are timeless (though they look really cool!)
