Well… do you want older R&B, neosoul, a mix of new & old school, fast, slow, dancing music, etc…?

I would definitely go with some classic soul/R&B that is familiar to everyone. Marvin Gaye (I’m partial, especially his duets with Tammi Terrell), Isley Brothers, Temptations,  Four Tops, Earth Wind & Fire, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.

New school: Maxwell, Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Luther (of course), India Arie, Mary J, Faith Evans,

I could go on..but hope that helps!

You could always go to Pandora, enter your favorite artists and see what Pandora gives you, they may have music you never heard/thought of and you like! Just keep pressing the thumbs up or down icon to make sure they know if they are on the right track…Good luck!

I agree with both of you ladies.  Pandora is wonderful.  You can put in R&B and it will play a variety of songs.  They have different categories as well.  We just went through a whole bunch of songs that are must plays at our reception, but it was very difficult.
