Has anyone used R-Mine in Studio City to buy/alter a dress? I'm seriously thinking of getting a dress there. I've had a great experience with the sales girl, and the pricing is really good and she seems to be able to do virtually any alteration for a reasonable rate. The problem is I looked them up on Yelp and Citysearch and there are some really horrible reviews out there. While many people seem to enjoy shopping there as much as I have, the bad reviews seem to be from people who actually made a purchase. They complain they change the price on you, and make promises they can't deliver. So now I'm paranoid it's all a scam. Can anyone shed some light?
I've never been to R Mine but in case you decide not to go with them, i strongly recommend Pebbles Bridal in Woodland Hills. Prices for bridal gowns are very reasonable and the staff are wonderfull.
